A Coleção Hannah Arendt inclui centenas de volumes com com anotações e indicações às margens. A principal missão do projeto é preservar e catalogar todos os itens de sua biblioteca pessoal. Certamente uma preciosa fonte de pesquisa para os que desejam ampliar a compreensão sobre a trajetória intelectual e aspectos específicos da obra de Arendt. Se projetos de digitalização massiva de arquivos e bibliotecas tem grande impacto sobre o acesso aos conjuntos documentais e ao patrimônio cultural de forma geral, não é menos relevante reconhecer que isso se deve ao esforço inicial de reunir, preservar, organizar e pesquisar um acervo qualquer. The Hannah Arendt Collection includes hundreds of
volumes with marginalia and annotations, and it is our goal in
perserving this collection, to scan and digitize all of the pages with
Arendt's unique markings. The examples below (in PDF format) represent
the beginning of this process, which has been supported by a generous
grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Each listing indicates the
size in megabytes and total number of scans (including covers, title
